Usage and Biology
This promoter has a single base mutation from the T7 consensus promoter sequence. The mutation is at the -17 base from T to G. The relative strength of this promoter compared to R0085 (the T7 consensus promoter) was measured as 0.5 by Imburgio and coworkers.
